Trends Shaping Clinical Data Management
2 part webinar
60 minute presentation followed by 30 minute Q&A
Overview
Now more than ever it’s important to develop an understanding of new sources for data capture and how that impacts CDMs. Changes in the political and technological environment will soon be influencing the way data is managed in clinical trials and research. This webinar will examine the potential for the convergence of systems within this new environment, particularly EHR and EDC. The session will begin with a primer that defines the technologies, and then explore the differences between EHR, EMR and PHR, and discuss the impact they will have on CDMs. Consideration will be given to specific issues such as validity and verifiability of source documents. There will be ample opportunity for questions with the presenters.
