Charlene Dark, CCDM, Independent Consultant

Charlene Dark, CCDM, has seized entrepreneurial opportunities throughout her entire career in the pharmaceutical research industry. Ms. Dark's experience has been focused in the CRO industry, where she began as a statistician and quickly grew to a leader of operations, strategic planning and business development. Ms. Dark has been instrumental in developing new departments and enhancing current divisions within existing organizations as well as leading the launch of new ventures for global and regional CROs. Ms. Dark is currently founder of C Dark Consulting, a professional services firm that focuses on business process optimization, organizational development, leadership, and project management in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, and CRO industries.

Overview

Many data managers have assumed some project management responsibilities. However, progressing to a data leader requires more than sound, technical process knowledge. This webinar will teach future, potential data leaders the similarities and difference between project management and leadership; identify skills needed to productively perform in each area; and provide suggestions on next steps in career planning to successfully obtain a rewarding role as a data leader.
